About the session

AI is changing not only how we write code — but how we collaborate around it. In this experimental live session, four developers build a social app in real time using AI-assisted workflows, rapid iteration, and collaborative “vibe coding”. The real focus isn’t the app itself, but the process of building something collaboratively, improvisationally, and AI-first.

Instead of polished demos and prepared slides, this session exposes what modern software creation actually looks like:

  • live coding
  • AI-assisted chaos
  • design arguments
  • accidental features
  • debugging under pressure
  • architectural compromises
  • and spontaneous ideas from both humans and machines

Along the way, the audience gets to see how decisions emerge, how chaos is managed, what actually works in practice — and why “vibe coding” might be the beginning of a new kind of software craftsmanship.

The coding continues after the session during the DevSum party, where attendees can drop in, ask questions, follow the experiment as it evolves, and maybe even influence where it goes next.
